Contract that Implied Benefits Created Legal Obligation

A district court was determined to have erred in dismissing the claims of a group of retired employees, who said the contract breached an implied obligation to provide some benefits in perpetuity on an implied contract theory, as a result of a recent California Supreme Court decision to that effect.
